Sore Froats...Ugh!

If it's not one thing it's...well, this time it's sore "froats" for Colin and me. Usually a little sore throat doesn't bother me much, but this is the kind that feels like a big sore lump. My usual remedy for a scratchy throat is to keep drinking plenty of fluids. But when it HURTS so much to swallow...yikes!

Whine, whine, complain, complain... I am thankful it's not anything worse!! And I'm thankful that so far Natalie and Tom seem to be fine. Tom, bless his fuzzy little heart, went to the store and got us more Tylenol. Maybe Natalie will make us some chicken soup. Colin and I will be on the couch, sitting under fuzzy covers, trying to find something on TV to watch that we can call educational.

Sore "froats"...blegghhhh...we blame Uncle Jim. :)

Well... I didn't (and don't) have a sore throat. :)

I think it's more likely that you're both suffering from an outbreak of MRSA.

In that case we know for sure who to blame! Ha!

But if we start sniffling we will blame you.

Colin says "You should reply back to him and say 'Not MRSA, just bumpy froat'"

Whatever!

Well, I took a vitamin C this morning, will take my regular vitamin tonight, just wiped down our bathroom with disinfectant wipes, and intend to make some chicken soup that will cure the two of you! Oh, and that awful mouthwash will kill any germs that get near my mouth...

Plus I don't intend to get sick. So there. :)

Well, I just want to know how you know Tom's heart is fuzzy.

I'm glad he brought Tylenol, but you two need a miniature coca-cola in a glass bottle! (I got these from my great aunt when I was a kid to 'help me feel better' when I was sick. This is one of my "trademark" true stories; I will have to tell you more about it later.)

Ugh...I have a sore throat. And a headache.

Who am I supposed to blame for this? :D

When the world needs a scapegoat, it looks to Uncle Jim...

So, how are the "sore froats" this morning?

The throats are all better, but the noses are in overdrive.

Awww...you linked to me in your sidebar!!

I really need a blog title...

This is very random...but why do you (dad) call yourself "Uncle Jim" on your sister's blog??

And now I will stop leaving comments about absolutely nothing.

Perhaps he's not doing a very thorough job of bracing himself each morning and is becoming senile?

Hey, how about "Brace Yourself" as a title for your blog? :)

You come up with the craziest blog names.

Ugh my heart goes to you. I hate sore throats!

Just FYI, I use "Uncle Jim" for consistency's sake. "Dad" would look a little strange for comments hereabouts, and "Jim" just isn't specific enough.

I'm not into the whole "Brother Cat" paradigm.

How are the sickies doing today? Any improvement?

We're getting much better, and so far Tom and Natalie don't have it. Are all of you recovering?

No Brother Cat...well, just be a spoilsport... :)
